Disney World in Orlando Florida is renowned for making dreams come true. One of the best ways to experience that magic is to feel like a princess. Whether you’re a child or an adult, there are plenty of ways to indulge in that royal feeling. Here are some of the easiest ways to feel like a princess in Walt Disney World:
Wear a Tiara
It’s hard to feel like a princess without a crown. Start by picking up a tiara from one of the shops in Disney World. To save some money, you can order one on Amazon before your trip. If you’re a Minnie Ears girl, you can even get a pair of ears with a crown on them!
It seems silly, but wearing a tiara is the easiest way to feel regal in an instant. (I promise.)
Attend a Princess Meet-and-Greet
Disney World is home to many Disney Princesses, and you can meet them in person. Check out their schedules and attend a meet-and-greet to chat, take photos, and ask for their autographs. It’s a perfect opportunity to feel like you’re part of their world.

Which Disney Parks have Which Princesses?
Magic Kingdom
The “Castle Park” is the heart of princess activity.
- Cinderella: At Princess Fairytale Hall and inside Cinderella’s Royal Table.
- Tiana: At Princess Fairytale Hall (often paired with a “Visiting Princess”).
- Rapunzel: At Princess Fairytale Hall (usually paired with Tiana).
- Elena of Avalor: At Princess Fairytale Hall (usually paired with Cinderella).
- Ariel (Animated): At Ariel’s Grotto in Fantasyland (with her mermaid tail).
- Belle: At Enchanted Tales with Belle (an interactive storytelling experience).
- Jasmine: In Adventureland (near The Magic Carpets of Aladdin), often with Aladdin.
- Merida: Typically found at Enchanted Garden (near Cosmic Ray’s).
EPCOT
EPCOT’s World Showcase is the best place to meet many princesses in a single afternoon.
- Snow White: In the Germany Pavilion (near the wishing well).
- Aurora (Sleeping Beauty): In the France Pavilion (in the garden gazebo).
- Belle: In the France Pavilion (along the water in her blue village dress).

Enjoy a Royal Dining Experience
Make a reservation at one of the fine dining restaurants; you’ll enjoy exquisite food and ambiance. It’s perfect for making you feel like royalty. From Cinderella’s Royal Table to Be Our Guest Restaurant, each one offers a unique and enchanting experience. At Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom you can meet a slew of princesses.

Exclusivity: Reservations are extremely competitive and often require booking exactly 60 days in advance right when the booking window opens.
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (EPCOT – Norway Pavilion)
Approx. Price: $59 (Breakfast) - $69 (Lunch/Dinner) per adult
Experience: Dine in a medieval castle setting within the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT. Enjoy Princess Storybook Dining where you’ll typically meet Belle, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, and Snow White (character appearances are subject to change). Food is served family-style with Norwegian-inspired fare and American favorites.
Proximity: Conveniently located in EPCOT’s World Showcase, making it easy to combine with meeting Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus nearby.
Be Our Guest Restaurant (Magic Kingdom – Fantasyland)
Approx. Price: $70 - $72 per adult (Lunch/Dinner Prix Fixe)
Experience: Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Beauty and the Beast across three themed dining rooms: The Grand Ballroom, The West Wing, and The Rose Gallery. While not a traditional “princess character meal” where multiple princesses circulate, The Beast often makes an appearance, greeting guests. The meal is a prix fixe menu offering French-inspired cuisine. (Note: Breakfast at Be Our Guest historically included characters but has been a quick-service breakfast or a la carte breakfast without characters in recent times, and character dining at dinner only features the Beast.)
Cinderella’s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom – Cinderella Castle)
Approx. Price: $74 (Breakfast) - $88 (Lunch/Dinner) per adult
Experience: Enjoy a truly royal meal inside Cinderella Castle! You’ll meet Cinderella upon entry, and then other princesses (commonly Ariel, Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White, Belle – subject to change) will visit your table. This is often considered the quintessential Disney princess dining experience due to its iconic location and the number of princesses present.
Stay in a Disney Hotel
Staying at one of the hotels on Disney Property, such as Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney’s Contemporary Resort, can also make you feel like a princess. These resorts offer lavish amenities and themes to help you escape reality and feel like a Disney princess.
When I want to feel like a princess without breaking the bank, I stay at Port Orleans Riverside in their Royal Guest Room. This moderate resort is quiet and themed for the Louisiana bayou. The Royal Guest Room is something really special. There are so many hidden easter eggs and hints of magic for princess fans. Ask Megz about booking through her!
Dress Up Like a Princess
If you’re a kiddo, you don’t have to wait for Halloween to dress up like a princess. There are several shops in Disney World that offer princess dresses, shoes, and accessories. Choose your favorite Disney princess and let your inner royalty shine. If you’re an adult, you can Disneybound, which is to dress in every day clothes inspired by a Disney character. Enjoy a Princess-Themed Ride
Walt Disney World has many rides and experiences inspired by its iconic princesses, such as The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and Enchanted Tales with Belle. They are the perfect way to immerse yourself in the world of Disney’s princesses. I love to head over to the Magic Carpet ride in Adventureland when I want to live my best fairy tale princess life.
While many princesses have meet-and-greets or appear in shows, here are the attractions primarily based on their stories, sorted by park:
Magic Kingdom
- Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid: Located in Fantasyland, this gentle dark ride takes you “under the sea” to experience the beloved story of Ariel from The Little Mermaid as you travel in a clam shell.
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: Also in Fantasyland, this family-friendly coaster takes you on a rollicking ride through the mine where the Seven Dwarfs work, with scenes and characters inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
- Enchanted Tales with Belle: Found in Fantasyland, this isn’t strictly a “ride,” but an interactive storytelling experience where you help re-enact the tale of Beauty and the Beast and ultimately meet Belle.
- Prince Charming Regal Carrousel: While a classic carrousel, it’s themed to Cinderella, located directly behind Cinderella Castle in Fantasyland.
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure: (Opening July 2025 in Frontierland) This highly anticipated ride, reimagined from Splash Mountain, will take guests on a musical journey through the bayou with Princess Tiana and Louis from The Princess and the Frog.
EPCOT
- Frozen Ever After: Located in the Norway Pavilion of World Showcase, this boat ride takes you on a magical journey through Arendelle with Anna, Elsa, and Olaf from Frozen.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- There are currently no traditional rides at Disney’s Hollywood Studios explicitly themed to a Disney Princess’s story.
- Note: While not rides, “Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage” and “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” are popular stage shows featuring princesses.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- There are currently no traditional rides at Disney’s Animal Kingdom explicitly themed to a Disney Princess’s story.
- Note: Moana has a dedicated meet-and-greet area, and Pocahontas has had sporadic appearances and was featured in character flotillas (which were not rides).
Important Note: Character dining experiences like Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall feature princesses, but they are dining locations, not rides.
Honourable Mention:
If you’re on an adults only trip or have a babysitter, go for drinks at the Enchanted Rose Lounge. They serve some of the best cocktails on property and everything is themed for Belle from Beauty and the Beast, but with a Victorian twist.
